Eagles vs. Giants Odds
Game Preview
The fact that the Eagles (4-1) lost for the first time this year is enough to set the alarm off in Philly. Jalen Hurts and the boys had a 14-point lead against the Broncos, yet lost in the end, 21-17. Denver completely stopped the Eagles’ running game, allowing only 45 yards on the ground.
Unlike any other game this year, Hurts was very dominant in the air, throwing for 280 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, yet he ran for only 3 yards. Just to mention that the Eagles are the 2nd-worst team in the league in passing yards won, 161.8 per game.
Without injured Malik Nabers, the Giants (1-4) will have an extremely tough future. QB Jaxson Dart learned that in New Orleans, where the Saints beat the NYG, 26-14. Dart had 202 passing yards, for 2 touchdowns and interceptions.
Though, he ran for 55 yards, while RB Cam Skattebo generated 59 yards, and the Giants ended the night producing 136 rushing yards. Tight end Theo Johnson would have only 33 receiving yards, though, with 2 touchdowns.
Eagles vs. Giants Head to Head
Philly leads the all-time series, 95-88-2, with the Eagles winning both games last year, 28-3 in New York and 20-13 at home.
Eagles vs. Giants Predictions
Philadelphia is a favorite here, and even though they struggle to find the rhythm on the offensive side, their individual quality should be enough to dispatch the Giants easily. We take the Eagles to cover the spread here.
