Buccaneers vs. Lions Odds
Game Preview
Baker Mayfield is playing on an MVP level. After 6 games, he has 1,539 passing yards with 12 touchdown passes and just one pick. The former No.1 pick led the Bucs to a 5-1 record and the top spot in the NFC South. Four of those wins were inside one possession.
Some sources say that RB Bucky Irving might return, which would be a great boost to the offense. The Bucs’ iconic receiving duo, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, have a worthy successor – Emeka Egbuja, who has 469 receiving yards and 5 touchdown receptions.
The Lions had a tough reality check in Kansas City, where they lost to the Chiefs, 30-17. Before the game, Detroit was the top offense in the league, but they were limited to only 17 points. Lions didn’t have any turnovers, but in the end, the Chiefs were simply better and more efficient.
Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson has 6 sacks so far, and he is the one who should wake up the defense following this loss. Safety Brian Branch is suspended, which will be a huge hit for the Lions, but this won’t excuse the potential loss.
Buccaneers vs. Lions Head to Head
Lions lead the series, 33-30. The two sides met last season in Detroit, where the Buccaneers lost 20-16.
Buccaneers vs. Lions Predictions
Tampa Bay is solid, and their offense is good because Baker does a fantastic job. We won’t spend too many words on the Lions, as we all know about their attacking potential. Our pick here is Over 52.5 points.
