Game Preview

The Atlanta Falcons had a marvelous game on Monday Night Football, defeating the Buffalo Bills 24-14 and showing excellent performance on both ends of the field. Josh Allen was picked twice and sacked 4 times.

Meanwhile, incredible Bijan Robinson had 19 carries for 170 yards and a touchdown while adding 68 receiving yards. Drake London had 158 receiving yards for one TD, too. Falcons have 151.2 rushing yards per game, and allow 139.4 passing yards per game, both the best in the NFL.

As for the 49ers, it seems that this season, bad luck is all over their locker room. After several big injuries came another kick in the teeth, with their linebacker, Fred Warner, injuring an ankle and ending the season.

The Niner battled against the Buccaneers on the road bravely, but in the end, the hosts won 30-19. Mac Jones had his worst game of the season, being picked twice, despite throwing 347 yards. Christian McCaffrey had only 54 rushing yards on 17 carries. Basically, the 49ers gave their best, but it simply wasn’t enough.

Falcons vs. 49ers Head to Head

After 82 games, the record is on the Niners’ side, 48-33-1.

Falcons vs. 49ers Predictions

Atlanta is definitely a team on the rise, while the 49ers are in trouble, overwhelmed with all sorts of injuries. Given the current situation and the fact that the Niners rely too heavily on the pass game, we believe they might face problems against the league’s best pass defense. That, and the fact that hosts have injury problems, is enough for us to pick the Falcons to defend the spread.
