Game Preview
The Packers were on their bye week last weekend so have had plenty of time to shake off their loss to the Raiders in week 5. Running back Aaron Jones has remained limited in practice with the hamstring injury he suffered in week 1. It remains to be seen whether his limited participation is precautionary or he is set to miss another week.
The Broncos are struggling this season, and people are starting to question whether QB Russell Wilson still has what it takes to lead an NFL team. Against the Chiefs in week 6, Wilson threw for only 95 yards on 13 completions, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Former Raider, Jarrett Stidham is waiting in the wings if Denver decides to move on from Russ. RB Javonte Williams is returning to full fitness, the sophomore took 35% of snaps in week 6 and that should increase to at least 50% this week.
Prediction
I’ve made my feelings about the Broncos pretty clear all season. I can’t see them improving on their one win here. A Packers win is the only outcome I can predict this week.
