The Niners beat the Falcons last weekend, 20-10, with Christian McCaffrey shining. One of the best offensive players in the last decade had two rushing touchdowns, 129 yards on the ground and 72 receiving yards, toying with Atlanta’s defense.
Mac Jones began showing signs of slowing down. He had only 152 passing yards, 17-for-26, without a touchdown pass and with one interception. CMC’s effect on the 49ers’ running game was huge, as the team from Levi’s Stadium recorded 174 yards on the ground here.
The Houston Texans allow the fewest points in the league per game, 14.7, yet they are losing. On Monday Night Football, the Texans allowed almost twice as many points to the Seahawks, 27-19, snapping the back-to-back win streak.
