Packers vs. Steelers Odds
Game Preview
The Packers beat the Cardinals, 27-23, in Glendale, and we have to say they again had more luck than brains. When it mattered the most, RB Josh Jacobs and the defense stepped up, while Jordan Love didn’t look too confident, despite not making any turnovers.
Green Bay’s defense had 6 sacks on Kyler Murray, with Micah Parsons delivering 3 and having 5 QB hits. The Packs had 12 hits on Murray overall. Now that’s a beating.
The Steelers lost to the Bengals, 33-31. Joe Flacco outsmarted one of the best defenses in the NFL, punishing the slightest mistake it made. On the other hand, Rodgers had two interceptions, which was maybe the main reason for this defeat.
He had 4 TD passes and 249 passing yards, but overall, this performance was below Rodgers’ level. The good thing in the loss is that the runners did well, providing 147 yards, of which Jaylen Warren 127.
Packers vs. Steelers Head to Head
Green Bay leads the series, 20-17. The two met in the Super Bowl XLV when Rodgers led the Packers and beat the Steelers 31-25.
Packers vs. Steelers Predictions
This will be the second time this year that the Packers’ O-Line and Love face this physical defense. The first time was in Cleveland, and Green Bay lost that event. We expect to see the same here. Why? Because Love doesn’t play well when being under pressure, especially when he throws from inside the pocket under pressure, which will happen frequently here.
