Neither DE Bryce Huff nor LB Dee Winters has participated in training this week, and the chances of seeing them play in this event are rapidly diminishing. Though the Niners won’t lament over that, but get out and battle, as Kyle Shanahan always has some solution.
Last weekend, they suffered a nasty loss to the Texans in Houston, 26-15. It was one of their worst game of the year, especially for Christian McCaffrey, who had only 25 rushing yards. Overall, the 49ers had 48 yards on the ground, and that was something that limited their offense heavily.
After miraculously dropping a win over the Broncos two weeks ago, the Giants now experienced another devastating blow. It’s not about a 38-20 loss to the Eagles, but about RB Cam Skattebo ending his season due to injuries.
Knowing that he was the motor of the offense, this will be a massive loss for the Giants, who already lost WR Malik Nabers. Meanwhile, LB Brian Burns continues his NFL DPOY campaign, having 10 sacks at the moment. One was against the Eagles.
