Game Preview

The Bears lost to the Ravens, 30-16, in a game in which they allowed 177 yards on the ground. Against Baltimore, that’s unacceptable, and the loss was inevitable. Caleb Williams didn’t have a good game, throwing for 285 yards, one interception, and no touchdowns, completing 25 of 38 passes.

Rome Odunze, with 114 receiving yards, and DJ Moore, with 73, were his two primary targets, while the rushers couldn’t breach the Ravens’ defensive line, having only 96 yards on the ground.

The Bengals led 38-24 with 10 minutes to go, yet allowed two late touchdowns to see the Jets post their first win of the year. What should have been Cinci’s 4th triumph of the season ended up as a big bust.

As usual, the defense was terrible, with no sacks or pressure on the Jets, and that’s the sole reason for this failure. The Bengals allowed 254 rushing yards. Offense was solid, but simply couldn’t cover up for all the mess.

Bears vs. Bengals Head to Head

After 12 meetings, the series is tied at 6 all. The last one was in 2021, when the Bears won, 20-17.

Bears vs. Bengals Predictions

Let’s put it this way. The Bears have poor defense, yet it’s better than Cinci’s. If you allow the Jets to score 40 points, then the Bears have their chances as well. Also, Chicago’s pressure on Flacco, who is now well-scouted, will be much higher than the Jets’, and because of all this, we are going to back up the Bears to triumph.
