Colts vs. Steelers Odds
Game Preview
Jonathan Taylor is by far the running back with the most rushing yards this year – 850. He is the top favorite for winning the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award. So it’s much easier for Daniel Jones to organize the attack with such a monster in his team.
Though we have to add that Jones plays the football of his life. So far, he has 2,062 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions thrown.
The Steelers’ defense is not anywhere near the expected level. It allows 386 yards from scrimmage per game, 30th in the NFL, and 273.3 passing yards per game, which is the most of all the teams in the league. Also, they experienced back-to-back losses, one on the road against the Bengals on Week 7 MNF (33-31) and then at home against the Packers (35-25).
Aaron Rodgers plays solid football, and he orchestrates the offense well. He was quite solid against his Packs – 219 passing yards and two TD passes. On the other hand, the defense failed to provide a single sack on Love, and that says enough.
Colts vs. Steelers Head to Head
The Steelers lead the series 27-8, though the last two events saw the team from Indiana winning. The most recent was last year, 27-24 in Indianapolis.
Colts vs. Steelers Predictions
The Indianapolis Colts are the best team in the league right now, and the only way to stop this unit is to have a hard defense, which could eventually slow them down, and hope the offense delivers. However, in this case, the Steelers don’t have such a defense, which is why we pick the Colts to win.
