Game Preview
Sheldon Keefe’s New Jersey Devils will be back in front of their own fans on Wednesday, as they chase an immediate response following a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Wild on Monday. The Devils have been more solid at Prudential Center than they have been on the road this term, going 11-8-2 compared to 11-13-0 on their travels.
Scoring goals has been a challenge for the Devils, evidenced by the fact that they have scored just 118 times. Nico Hischier has been the team’s standout offensive player, scoring 13 goals. Meanwhile, Jesper Bratt leads the stats for the team after accumulating 34 points.
The Seattle Kraken should bring the increased confidence into this clash, as they have seamlessly moved up to third in the Pacific Division after winning seven of their last ten games. A victory on the road this week could send them to within striking distance of the top two in the division.
Seattle were excellent on the road on Monday, as they cruised to a 4-2 win over the NY Rangers. They showed excellent character to come back from 2-0 down following the opening period. Jordan Eberle has been one of their best performers this term, scoring a team-high 15 goals in 2025-26.
Kraken vs. Devils Picks
The Kraken bring strong form into this round, but it should be noted that they have never won a road game at the Devils. But, that could change on Wednesday based on the confidence that they are currently playing with.
