Game Preview

The pressure will be increased on the Toronto Maple Leafs this week, as they bid to snap a five-game losing sequence. Toronto have gone 4-5-1 across their last ten, and they have recorded just eight victories in 19 NHL outings in 2025-26. That poor run of form sees them sitting seventh in the Atlantic Division standings.

It would be a major concern that they have suffered defeats in each of their last five, as no team in the Atlantic Division are currently on a longer losing run. Toronto’s most recent defeat was suffered at the Chicago Blackhawks, as they conceded twice in the final frame in the 3-2 loss.

The St. Louis Blues are also enduring a poor campaign to this point, as they sit seventh in the Central Division. They have won just six times in 19 games so far this season, and they have gone 3-4-3 across their last ten in the NHL. Like the Maple Leafs, the Blues also come into this game in a losing streak.

The Blues suffered a second straight loss in their latest outing after shipping four goals against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Blues stuttered in the offensive areas throughout that loss, with their only goal being scored by Philip Broberg in the final frame.

Blues vs. Maple Leafs Picks

There will be pressure on both of these teams to get back on track in the NHL this week. However, the edge is given to Toronto, who will have the home-ice advantage on Tuesday.
