It has been an impressive start for the Dallas Stars, and they already sit second in the Central Division. Dallas have won 14 of their 23 games in 2025-26, and confidence levels should be high after winning seven of their previous ten.
The Stars were excellent on Tuesday evening, as they registered a big-scoring 8-3 success against the Edmonton Oilers. Nathan Bastian scored twice in the win, while Wyatt Johnston ended the night with a goal and three assists. Their offensive quality will make them a notable angle on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Seattle Kraken have also made a productive start to the campaign. Seattle have gone 11-5-6 across their opening 22 games, and no side in the Pacific Division can currently boast a better defensive record. However, their lack of offensive output could be a concern, as they have scored just 57 goals.
The Kraken will also be hoping to get back on track this week following a shootout loss at the hands of the NY Islanders over the weekend. Despite that defeat, being back in front of their own fans will be a bonus, as they have gone 6-1-3 at the Climate Pledge Arena.
