The 2026 Winter Classic is set for Miami this week, as the Florida Panthers collide with the New York Rangers. It has been a contrasting period for the two sides, with the Panthers bringing some strong recent form to the table on Friday.
The reigning Stanley Cup champions have recorded wins in six of their last ten to improve their overall record in the NHL to 21-15-3 this term. However, they will need to pick themselves up following a recent defeat against the Montreal Canadiens in overtime.
Brad Marchand scored in the 3-2 loss against the Habs earlier this week, but the overtime loss means that the Panthers have only been beaten in regulation time in three of their last ten games.
