Game Preview
The Citizens have been pretty confident against United in the Manchester Derby this Sunday, winning that one 3-0. Now comes their firs of many UCL fixtures this year, and a win is a must, despite having a tough rival across the field.
Manchester City’s offense is doing a great job, while their defense isn’t as strong, which is why their matches often bring plenty of goals. Overall looking, in only but one of the previous 7 competitive games they had since summer, we haven’t seen 2.5 goals.
Napoli rolled over Fiorentina on the road, beating the hosts in Florence 1-3. It was a pure display of raw power, with Antonio Conte’s unit posting its third straight win in Serie A. They looked harsh, knocking out the rivals quickly and later on routinely closing out the game.
Prior to defeating Fiorentina, they beat Sassuolo on the road, 0-2 and Cagliari at home, 1-0. Therefore, the defense conceded only one goal.
