Two Premier League sides that will be aiming for a return to form will collide on Sunday. There will be immense pressure on Thomas Frank, as Spurs have suffered defeats in their last two games to sit 14th in the standings. A third straight loss could signal the end for the current head coach.
Tottenham will take confidence from their away record this season, having won four of their eight. They have also scored 1.88 goals per away game, which is significantly higher than their average of 1.22 in home fixtures. But, creating chances has been a main issue throughout the campaign, averaging an xG of just 1.20.
Crystal Palace have also suffered defeats in each of their last two league matches, and they have looked fatigued due to their European commitments. The Eagles were also in action in midweek this week, taking Arsenal to penalties, before losing to the Gunners in the EFL Cup quarterfinals.
Palace’s home form has been reliable, having avoided defeat in six of their eight fixtures.
