For the third week running, Man United will be in action on a Monday evening. The Red Devils have failed to win in their last two at Old Trafford, which includes a sloppy 1-1 draw against West Ham at the start of the month. However, they did bounce back to form with a dominant showing against Wolves last Monday.
United bossed proceedings throughout the second half of that fixture, but it is important to note that their opponents are likely one of the worst teams to have played in the Premier League. But, progress has been made by the Red Devils this season, and a win on Monday could lift them into the Champions League spots.
Bournemouth’s form has tailed off in recent weeks, having failed to win in each of their last five. However, they did snap a two-game losing run in the Premier League last Saturday after playing out a 0-0 draw against Chelsea.
But, their record on the road does raise major concerns. Bournemouth have won just one of their seven away from home this season, with four of their five EPL defeats being suffered away from the Vitality Stadium. Meanwhile, they have conceded a high average of 2.71 goals per game in away fixtures.
