Game Preview
To be honest, we expected City to dismantle Wolves on the road. The final result, 0-4, reflected the situation on the field, and it seems that Guardiola quickly taught his new players to adapt to the system.
Haaland was excellent, scoring a brace, while the newcomers Reijnders and Cherki both scored a goal, with the Dutch adding an assist. Also, this was the fifth consecutive match for the Citizens with over 2.5 goals.
On the other hand, the Spurs beat Burnley at home, 3-0. They needed some time to break the Clarets, but after a while, Tottenham found the crack in the rival’s defense and used it.
Richarlison scored a brace, with both goals assisted by Mohammed Kudus. The former West Ham forward was exquisite, and he will be a huge upgrade for the Spurs in the midfield.
