Match Preview
There is little doubt that England are one of the key contenders for EURO glory next summer. The Three Lions have been dominant throughout this qualification period, as they have won five of their six matches, scoring 19 goals in the process. Top spot could be assured this weekend, if they are able to land victory against Malta.
England returned to winning ways in Group C in the previous international window, as they come from behind to beat Italy 3-1 at Wembley. It was an excellent performance on that evening, with Harry Kane netting a brace, and Marcus Rashford also finding the back of the net. A repeat performance will be expected this week.

Malta were well beaten by a 4-0 scoreline by England in the first meeting between the sides in qualification, and you’d be hard pressed to give them much of a chance this weekend. The visitors are yet to pick up a point from their seven qualifying matches, as they have fallen to defeat on all outings.
Malta have scored just twice across their seven matches, while they have allowed a group-high of 18 goals. Their record against England is very challenging to overlook, and there isn’t expected to be much confidence gained from their final outing in qualification this weekend.
England vs Malta Prediction
England have been excellent throughout Group C, and they will be expected to put on a show for the home support at Wembley on Friday. Therefore, we expect the Three Lions to comfortably win by a five-goal margin in London this week.
