The pressure was eased on Arne Slot on Wednesday evening, as Liverpool landed a hard-fought 1-0 away win at Sunderland. That victory keeps the Reds within striking distance of the Champions League spots, but this weekend, their focus switches to the FA Cup.
The FA Cup is likely Liverpool’s best chance of silverware in 2025-26, but they have only reached the fifth round in two of the last five seasons.
