Game Preview
The Bees have three points after two La Liga fixtures. They were better than Girona on the road, 1-3, but lost the next outing, which was in Bilbao, 1-0.
Overall, this is a good start, considering Rayo also secured a win in the Conference League qualifiers against Neman, also away from home, 0-1. Therefore, this will be the first meeting at home for the boys from Vallecano.
Barca was excellent in both of its matches in La Liga. After defeating Mallorca on the road, 1-3, they were better against Levante, also on the road, 2-3.
The latter match saw Hansi Flick’s unit being down two goals, before rising and fighting back in the second half. Once again, Blaugrana’s machinery showed its potential.
