Game Preview
Inter Miami faced FC Dallas last weekend, with them losing 3-4 at home. This was the second defeat in a row for the Herons, who previously suffered a 2-0 rout in Vancouver vs. Whitecaps.
In their previous four games at home, there were goals on both ends, and the home team scored at least twice in three of them. Messi has three goals and two assists so far, the same as Telasco Segovia.
The Bulls’ away results are terrible. They have failed to win in the previous five consecutive trips outside New York. Three were losses, and two ended in ties, with New York scoring only one goal during the same stretch.
Eric Choupo-Moting leads the way in the attack, with four goals scored for the Red Bulls. However, he and the Swedish international Emil Forsberg have to be much better on the road for their team to climb up the MLS standings.
Inter Miami vs. New York Red Bulls Head to Head
This is the first MLS fixture between these teams since the start of the season. Last year, we saw them meeting twice. Inter was better in Miami 6-2, but previously, the Red Bulls trashed Messi’s boys 4-0 in the Big Apple.
Inter Miami vs. New York Red Bulls Predictions
Inter’s defense isn’t that good, but the Bulls are terrible on the road. Still, the home-field edge should be enough for the Herons to post a win.
