Match Preview
David Moyes will look to continue doing an excellent job on his return to Everton when the Toffees travel to London this weekend. Moyes’ return has seen the club pick up three wins from their last four matches, and they showed excellent character in their previous outing after battling to a 2-2 draw against local rivals Liverpool on Wednesday.
Crystal Palace have also easily moved clear of the relegation places in recent weeks after winning three of their last five. Their most recent win was a memorable success at Old Trafford against Man United. The Eagles could end this weekend as high as eleventh if they are able to pick up maximum points against Everton.

Everton holds the advantage based on previous meetings between the sides, as Crystal Palace have won just once in their last 20 Premier League matches against the Toffees. However, that win was recorded on home soil in December 2021.
Everton recorded a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture this term, but they haven’t recorded successive wins in a single season against the Eagles since 2004-05, in which Palace were relegated from the top flight and Everton finished the season in fourth.
The Toffees have a poor recent record in London, as they have failed to win on their last seven trips to the capital and have scored just twice. But, their latest win in London was achieved at Crystal Palace in November 2023.
