Match Preview

All eyes this Sunday in the Premier League will be on the race for the title. Liverpool will play before their rivals, with a victory being enough to see the Reds move back to the summit. Jurgen Klopp’s side come into this weekend after winning four of their last five league matches, with their only dropped points over that period coming in their last league outing against Man City.

However, the Reds will also be looking to get their season back on track after being dumped out of the FA Cup before the international break after suffering a dramatic 4-3 loss against Man United following extra time. But, Liverpool remain in the hunt for three major trophies this term.

Brighton will be the visitors to Anfield on Sunday, with the Seagulls looking to pick up an important victory in their race to finish in a European spot. They come into this match after winning twice across their last five, and a win on Sunday could leave them sitting seventh.

Brighton have picked up victories in their last two across all competitions. Their most recent success was achieved in the Europa League, landing a 1-0 home win against AS Roma. However, they still crashed out of the European competition despite that win after losing the first leg 4-0 in Italy.

Liverpool vs Brighton Prediction

Brighton are unbeaten in their last three league matches against Liverpool, with two of the fixtures between the sides over that period ending in draws. However, it is challenging to oppose the Reds on Sunday.
