Game Preview
Newcastle were far from at their best when they faced Leeds on Saturday, and Eddie Howe will be thankful to have come away with a point. Callum Wilson scored twice from the penalty spot but Newcastle was wasteful in front of goal aside from that. The partnership between Wilson and Alexander Isak is blossoming into a potentially potent one, if their link-up continues in this manner then there should be more good days than bad in the opposition box. Liverpool is breathing down the necks of the Toon, and Man United, for a Champions League spot so anything less than three points here will be seen as a slip-up.

Brighton was simply flawless in their 0-3 away victory against Arsenal on Sunday. Following their 5-1 defeat to Everton in their previous outing, Roberto De Zerbi’s side showed more of what we have come to expect from them as they cruised to a deserved win. Two wins from their next four games will be enough to guarantee Brighton a place in the Europa League next season.

Both of these sides need points for their European aspirations, and both have had unexpected slip-ups in recent weeks. The atmosphere of the St. James’ Park crowd may be the difference maker here but in a game that seems too close to call, a draw is where we see the game heading.
