A huge clash at the bottom of the Premier League standings will see Tottenham host Nottingham Forest on Sunday. The sides are separated by a single point, with the Tricky Trees sitting outside of the relegation places on goal difference.
Spurs have made a poor start to the new calendar year, and they are the only team in England’s top-flight that are yet to win in 2026. Tottenham have failed to win in their last 12, marking their third-longest unbeaten run in top-flight history.
However, signs of fight were evident last weekend after playing out a 1-1 draw at Liverpool, before fighting back to beat Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in midweek.
Nottingham Forest also enjoyed a midweek success in Europe, progressing through to the next round of the Europa League.
However, the Tricky Trees are winless in seven Premier League fixtures, and they have taken just four points over that period. Scoring goals has been one of their biggest issues in 2025-26, with only Wolves failing to hit the target in more fixtures.
