Saint-Denis vs. Pimblett Odds
Fight Preview
Saint-Denis is in very good shape, winning the previous 4 appearances in the octagon. And to make it even more confident, he beat all of his rivals via stoppage, two submissions, and two knockouts apiece. Overall, all 17 of his wins came before the bout reached the final horn.
Now, the latest pair of triumphs came against Benell and Dan Hooker, guys who really aren’t the elite in the division. And we need to add that in 2024, BSD suffered back-to-back KO defeats to Poirier and Moicano. He is a strong, very powerful guy who has more than enough stamina to endure all five rounds, but in some cases, he takes way too much damage, predominantly from kicks and punches.
As for Paddy, he was on a 9-bout winning streak before losing to Gaethje at UFC 324. He faced many big-time names during the stretch, but on the other hand, the majority were washed out already, like Tony Ferguson, King Green, or Michael Chandler.
We saw against Gaethje that Paddy doesn’t really have enough of a skillset to stop powerful punchers. His stamina was ok, but on the other hand, Pimblett didn’t have enough power to take down Gaethje, who isn’t such a good wrestler, to be honest. Meanwhile, the English lad is supposed to be a great grappler.
Saint-Denis vs. Pimblett Predictions
Pimblett isn’t some hard-hitter who can knock out a guy like Saint-Denis. Or at least that’s what we think. Sure, Paddy’s staming is impressive, and we have to admit that. Meanwhile, BSD is someone who can hurt Paddy both in the standup and on the mat, and even though many believe that his tank won’t match Pimblett’s, we really believe that the Englishman won’t survive BSD’s early push.
