Game Preview
Portugal was better than Germany, 2-1, with Ronaldo scoring a game-winning goal in the 68th minute. It was Selecao’s blitz, with them netting in the 63rd through Conceicao, flipping the result following the host’s lead.
Believe it or not, the worst part of Portugal’s team is its defense, which has posted just one clean sheet in the past 10 matches. Now, knowing that it used to be the other way around, this is a bit of a surprise.
Spain is rolling over every team that stands in their way. The Red Fury defeated France 5-4 in a thrilling match that finished after they wasted a 5-1 lead. For nearly 70 minutes, we witnessed a raw display of power by the Spanish unit, which trounced the Gauls.
In the last 6 matches, Yamal and the boys netted at least twice, while the past five games saw both teams netting and over 2.5 goals. The previous four concluded with at least four hits, meaning that the European champions play exciting games.
Portugal vs. Spain Head to Head
Selecao hasn’t beaten Spain since 2010. They played six matches during that streak; Spain won two, and four ended with ties. Five were with under 2.5 goals.
Portugal vs. Spain Predictions
Portugal has been excellent so far, but overall, Spain appears to be a better team. With all due respect to Ronaldo and the crew, we go with Red Fury in this case.
