Game Preview
The Bulls lost the Hudson River derby to their local rivals, New York City FC, 2-0. This was the second of back-to-back losses for this unit, which was previously beaten in Nashville, 2-1.
The positive thing for Sandro Schwarz’s unit is that it has just one defeat at home since the campaign began. The Bulls have won four of the last five games at home, while just two of the last seven haven’t ended with both teams netting and over 2.5 hits.
Dallas suffered a defeat in the Texas Derby at home, falling at the hands of the Houston Dynamo, 0-2. Toros couldn’t use their chances, despite being better overall, so in the end, the guests took all three points from this MLS fixture.
The previous fixture on the road, FC Dallas played, was a humiliation against San Diego, 5-0. This was their first loss away from home this season, with Eric Quill’s guys delivering three ties and wins.
