Game Preview

Jannik Sinner was the better player than Adrian Mannarino yesterday, beating the experienced Frenchman 2-0, 6-4, 7-6. This was his third game in Cinci, winning all without a set lost. Overall, this was Sinner’s 10th consecutive win, counting in those at Wimbledon, where he won the Grand Slam.

Sinner posted 12 aces against Mannarino, with a pretty poor, 52%, of the first serve. But still, the Italian won 97% of the points on his initial serve, allowing Mannarino to take just 1 in 32.

Auger-Aliassime had a very tough experience at home in Toronto two weeks ago, when he suffered an elimination in his very first appearance on the court. It was a loss to Fabian Marozsan, 2-0.

Yet, Felix bounced back, having three wins in a row in Cinci, all of them without a set lost. The first was against Etcheverry, the second against Rinderknech, and the most recent against Bonzi.

Sinner vs. Auger-Aliassime Head to Head

There were three matches between these two guys, yet only two played. Auger leads 2-0, noting that the most recent event was supposed to happen in Madrid this year when Sinner withdrew. In 2022, they met in Cincinnati and Auger-Aliassime won 2-1.

Sinner vs. Auger-Aliassime Predictions

Both guys are in good shape, but Sinner has a huge upper edge here because his form is at a much higher level. Plus, it’s tough to believe he has back-to-back matches with a poor serve percentage. We will take a combo bet here: Sinners win and under 22 games.
