Match Preview
Sinner comes to Paris as the second favorite for the title and is under the spotlight due to his doping troubles. He only recently came back following the ban, reaching the Italian Open finals and losing to Carlos Alcaraz.
The Italian star beat Arthur Rinderknech in the first round in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, 7-5. It wasn’t the best possible performance for Sinner, but he managed to overcome all the adversities during the event.
Gasquet is almost 39 years old. This is his last run here in Paris and probably his career. One of the most beloved players of his generation and possibly the most beautiful backhand ever will have to stop playing pro tennis.
Gasquet was better than Terence Atmane in the first round, 1-3, by sets 2-6, 6-2, 3-6, 0-6. Two hours and 20 minutes are a lot for him at this stage, and we are sure that Gasquet will feel the consequences of this match against Sinner, against whom you always need to be at the highest possible level.
Sinner vs. Gasquet Head to Head
Sinner leads 3-0 in H2H against Gasquet, and their previous meeting was also in Paris, at the French Open last year. Sinner won that match 3-0.
Sinner vs. Gasquet Predictions
