Game Preview

Sinner has only one set dropped at the US Open, which was against Shapovalov in the third round. Apart from that, he’s perfect. The rivals he had, maybe, weren’t as formidable as with some other rivals, yet they are still respectable – Kopriva, Popyrin, Shapovalov, Bublik, and lastly Musetti.

The No. 1 in the ATP rankings was better than his compatriot in the previous match, winning in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2. His serve was excellent, delivering 10 aces without a single double fault.

Felix plays well, too, and he dropped two sets in New York, proving good form. Unlike Sinner, his path to the semis was significantly tougher, as he battled Harris, Roman Safiullin, Alexander Zverev, Rublev, and Alex De Minaur in the quarterfinals.

Auger-Aliassime was very aggressive on his serve, and he posted 22 aces and 11 double faults. The average first serve was 191 km/h and he won 82% of points on it.

Sinner vs. Auger-Aliassime Head to Head

Right now it’s 2-1 for Felix, but the last meeting in Cincinnati saw the Italian beat his rival 6-2, 6-0. It was pretty terrifying.

Sinner vs. Auger-Aliassime Predictions

Jannik recently showed the difference between him and Felix. And even if the Canadian plays well today, he will most probably lose in straight sets.
