Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Odds
Fight Preview
Netflix will once again stream anticipated boxing action later this year after it was announced that Jake Paul would collide with Gervonta Davis in an exhibition. Eyebrows were raised following the announcement, as there is a big difference between the fighters in terms of their weight classifications.
Paul has been fighting regularly as 200lb, while Davis has been the king at 135lb. It is also a strange decision if you take away the financial reasons by Davis, as the American is regarded as one of the most talented boxers in the world, and could have arguably secured his legacy in the lightweight division.

This is a serious challenge for Paul, something he has been unaccustomed to after fighting largely MMA fighters throughout his career. Davis is a respected professional boxer, and has won 30 of his 31 professional bouts. The 30-year-old has ended 28 of his fights inside the distance, and he was last in action retaining his WBA lightweight gold following a controversial draw with Lamont Roach Jr in March.
Since turning his hand to boxing, Paul has accumulated a 12-1 record in the ring, with his only defeat coming against his only fight with an actual trained boxer still in competition- Tommy Fury. Since that loss, Paul has won his last six, but he has been taken the distance in his last two bouts by Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Picks
While Paul has the weight advantage, Davis is undeniably the better boxer of the two stars. Therefore, the weight issue may not even be a factor in this exhibition, and the reigning world champion could teach the YouTuber a lesson in the ring in Georgia.
