American star Sebastian Fundora will be back in the ring in October, as he defends his WBC junior middleweight title in Las Vegas. The 27-year-old has quickly become one of the standout names in the division, and he is ranked as the fifth-best light middleweight by The Ring Magazine.
Fundora has amassed a 23-1-1 professional record, winning an impressive 15 of his bouts by knockout. The American has been at his dominant best already this year, stopping Chordale Booker and Tim Tszyu inside the distance. It has been an excellent return to form following a shock KO defeat against Brian Mendoza in April 2023.

Keith Thurman will represent a stern test of Fundora in Las Vegas next month. The experienced American is a former WBA champion, and he also held the WBC title for a 12-month period between 2017 and 2018. At present, he is ranked as the fifth best welterweight by BoxRec.
