Race Preview
The Dutch Grand Prix has been an iconic race on the F1 schedule since making its return after a long absence in 2021. Unsurprisingly, Max Verstappen has dominated his home race, winning three of the four editions.
The race will cover a total of 190.504 miles, which is made up of 72 laps. Lando Norris claimed a maiden victory in the race last year, finishing a staggering 22 seconds ahead of Verstappen.
There will be pressure on the Brit following the summer break, as he still trails teammate Oscar Piastri by nine points in the championship battle. Tactically, Norris got the Hungarian Grand Prix right, making a one-stop strategy work to see off Piastri.

However, the Australian would likely regard the defeat as a race that got away. Piastri was the quickest driver throughout the race, but the two-stop strategy ultimately gave him too much to do in the closing stages.
The race in Hungary was a frustrating afternoon for Charles Leclerc, who took a memorable pole in qualifying before struggling for pace in the Grand Prix, ultimately taking only fourth after being overtaken by George Russell.
Verstappen also endured a frustrating race in Hungary after finishing only ninth. There was also more misery for Lewis Hamilton, who finished outside of the points in 12th after another poor qualifying session in the Ferrari.
Dutch Grand Prix Picks
It once again looks set to be a two-way race between the two McLarens in the Netherlands. Piastri has been the quicker of the two drivers in recent months, and a return to winning ways following the summer break would put down a significant marker ahead of a crucial run of races before the end of the European leg.
