The Formula 1 action continues in early June, as the Canadian Grand Prix is staged in Montreal. This race has been held at its current home since 2002, with the only canceled editions coming in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It is regularly one of the most-watched races of the season, with the 2005 edition being the most-watched F1 Grand Prix in history.
The race will cover a total distance of 305.270 km, with a total of 70 laps completing the race distance. Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher are tied for the most race wins in history, with Max Verstappen coming to the race in Montreal as the reigning champion.

However, the Dutchman will need to bounce back this weekend after enduring another testing weekend at the Monaco Grand Prix. The reigning world champion could only finish sixth in the race, giving hope to the chasing pack. Charles Leclerc was the winner of the last race, landing a first ever victory in his home Grand Prix.
McLaren enjoyed yet another strong weekend on the F1 calendar in Monaco, with Oscar Piastri finishing second, and Lando Norris taking fourth. Both will have leading claims once again in Canada. Mercedes will be hoping that planned upgrades could have a positive impact on their performance.

Verstappen will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways this weekend. However, we will be happy to take a chance on Norris scoring a second ever victory in F1.
