Event Preview
The final race of the F1 season in 2024 to be staged in the United States comes in the form of the Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 24. It was an exciting addition to the calendar when it was added in 2023, but organizers will be hoping for a slightly less contentious weekend in terms of pre-race incidents.
The field will complete a total race distance of 309.958 km, with 50 laps of the 6.201 km circuit completed on the streets of Las Vegas. Max Verstappen was the first winner of the race last year, with Red Bull achieving a double-podium finish as Sergio Perez took third.

It has been a thrilling second half to the F1 season following the summer break, with five different drivers winning in the last five rounds. However, the race for the Driversā Championship looks to be over after Max Verstappenās dominant win at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix at the end of October.
Still, McLaren are in pole position to win a historic Constructorsā Championship, as they hold a 36-point lead over Ferrari, with Red Bull languishing in third. Lando Norris has won three times this season, but he has finished on the podium in just one of the last three races.
Ferrari are ending the season strongly and could yet challenge for the Constructorsā championship with a fine weekend in the U.S. Charles Leclerc has achieved two podiums in the last three races, and the Sin City circuit did appear to favor the Ferraris last year.
