For the first time this season, there will be questions for Oscar Piastri to answer. The current world championship leader crashed out in the first lap of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. However, teammate, and title rival, Lando Norris couldn’t take advantage after finishing only seventh.
In fact, Max Verstappen is looking like the biggest danger at this stage of the season. The four-time champion has won each of the last two races in dominant fashion, and another street circuit track could once again ensure that he has an advantage over his rivals.
George Russell enjoyed a fine weekend in Baku after taking second. Meanwhile, the story of the weekend could have been the performance of Williams. Carlos Sainz finished third in Baku, and another street circuit layout could ensure that he holds another chance of a big-scoring weekend.
Singapore Grand Prix Picks
The last month has seen the F1 form turn on its head. At the prices, it could be hard to overlook Verstappen from winning a third straight race. The Dutchman has outperformed his McLaren counterparts in the last two rounds, and a third straight victory could be an interesting angle.
