Event Preview
Just five days removed from The Open Championship, the attention will be back on action on the PGA Tour this weekend. The 3M Open will be staged at TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota, with the field covering a total distance of 7,431 yards with the hope of winning their share of the $8.1 million purse.
There will be a competitive outlook to the betting this weekend, with Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy both absent on the Tour for the 3M Open. However, Sam Burns remains a player of huge interest for many. The American’s form dipped during two recent events in the UK, but he has finished in the top ten in three of his last eleven starts.

Wyndham Clark was one of the star performers across the final three days at The Open last weekend, and if arriving in the same form, he could be a challenging player to overlook. Clark previously competed at TPC Twin Cities in 2019 when finishing in a tie for fifth.
Chris Gotterup also finished excellently at The Open last weekend, continuing his excellent form after winning the Scottish Open. Cameron Champ is also worth consideration after winning the 3M Open in 2021 and later achieving top 20 finishes on his next two starts.

Strong cases can be made for many of the players this weekend, but Maverick McNealy makes plenty of appeal. The American showed his excellent form at the course last year when taking a share of third at the 3M Open. His consistency this season is also reflected after finishing in the top 25 on each of his last five appearances on the PGA Tour.
