Event Preview
The AT&T Byron Nelson has been staged annually on the PGA Tour since 1944. It is played at the TPC Craig Ranch, making it one of two events that are competed at the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. A total distance of 7,468 yards will be covered at the par-72 event, with a purse of $9.5 million available to players involved.
The tournament record aggregate score is jointly held by Rory Sabbatini, Aaron Wise, and Kang-Sung Hoon. Meanwhile, Lee Kyoung-Hoon holds the record for the best par score, as he finished 26-under when landing victory 12 months ago. That was the second straight year in which the Japanese had landed victory, and he could be a prominent selection at +2500 this weekend after finishing in a tie for eighth at the Wells Fargo Championship last weekend.

However, Scottie Scheffler is the player at the top of the betting for the event this weekend. The 26-year-old is slightly short in the betting for our liking, as he has no previous winning experience at the event. However, he has made the cut in all appearances this season, finishing in a tie for eleventh on his previous outing at the RBC Heritage.
Tyrrell Hatton could be a player that goes well in Texas this weekend, as he comes into the event after finishing in a tie for third at the Wells Fargo Championship last weekend. He has also made the cut in each of his previous three appearances on the PGA Tour.
AT&T Byron Nelson Prediction
This looks set to be a competitive event on the PGA Tour this weekend. However, we will be taking a chance on a player with proven experience at the event. Therefore, we will be siding with Lee Kyoung-Hoon to land a third straight victory in the event.
