Event Preview
The second major of the golf season is set for this weekend, as Quali Hollow plays host to the PGA Championship. The world’s best players will be in action in North Carolina, with the field competing across a distance of 7,600 yards at the par 71 course. Xander Schauffele set the best score in PGA Championship history last year after finishing 21-under with an aggregate score of 263.
This year marks the second PGA Championship to be held at Quali Hollow following Justin Thomas’ victory at the event in 2017. However, course experience very much favors Rory McIlroy this weekend. The Masters champion has won the Truist Championship on four occasions at the course.

Scottie Scheffler warmed up for the second major of the season with a dominant win at the CJ Cup. The American also deserves huge respect for his previous showings at the PGA Championship after finishing in the top ten in four of his five appearances.
Bryson DeChambeau may have faltered at The Masters last month, but the American once again holds leading claims at Quali Hollow this weekend. DeCheambeau has finished in the top five in each of the last two events, and he has finished in the top ten in four of the last five majors on the calendar.
PGA Championship Picks
Shane Lowry has been knocking on the door for a win in recent months, and that continued last weekend after finishing in a tie for second at the Truist Championship. The Irishman has finished in the top eight in three of the last six PGA Championships. His excellent form could see him go close this weekend.
