The Masters 2026: 5 Players That Will Miss The Cut
The start of the world-famous Masters is just days away, with the world’s best in action at Augusta National from Thursday. Scottie Scheffler is expected to be a popular favorite, as the American chases a third victory at Augusta National in 2026.
However, for some players, their 2026 Masters experience will end before business picks up over the weekend. We have pinpointed five players who will miss the cut at this year’s Masters here.
Players to Miss The Cut at The Masters 2026
Cameron Smith
Current Odds: +160 to Miss The Cut
Cameron Smith has endured mixed fortunes at majors since switching to the LIV Tour after winning the 2022 Open.
The Australian missed the cut in all four majors in 2025, and has failed to make the weekend in any major since the 2024 U.S. Open. His recent form on the LIV Tour isn’t eye-catching, having finished T17 at the South African event, and taking a share of 48th in Hong Kong.
Jordan Spieth
Current Odds: +275 to Miss The Cut
Former Masters champion Jordan Spieth could struggle on his return to Augusta this weekend. The American’s form has been underwhelming this calendar year, finishing T63 at the Texas Open, and outside of the top 20 on two further occasions.
The 32-year-old has shown flashes of his best, but Augusta is a course that punishes players who aren’t consistent. Spieth has missed the cut in two of his last five starts at The Masters.
Keegan Bradley
Current Odds: +155 to Miss The Cut
Keegan Bradley has failed to finish in the top 50 in his last three starts, including when failing to make the cut when finishing five-over at the Arnold Palmer at the start of last month.
The American Ryder Cup captain from last year missed the weekend at The Masters last year, and has never finished inside the top 20 at the major on nine previous attempts.
Sepp Straka
Current Odds: +200 to Miss The Cut
I liked Sepp Straka’s chances at The Masters 12 months ago, but this year, he is among the picks to miss the cut. The Austrian has been ice-cold in recent weeks, missing the weekend at the recent Texas Open.
The 32-year-old failed to make the cut in three of the four majors last year, and has failed to finish in the top 10 at any major since The Open Championship in 2023.
Sungjae Im
Current Odds: +155 to Miss The Cut
Sungjae Im has failed to find his form so far this season, and Augusta typically punishes players who are playing with indecision. The South Korean finished T60 at the Houston Open last time out, and missed the cut at both the Arnold Palmer and Players Championship.
While finishing an eye-catching T5 at Augusta 12 months ago, he arrived at the event in considerably better form in 2025 than he does this time around.
