Event Preview
This weekend’s PGA Tour action sees some of the world’s best players in action at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina. The Wyndham Championship has been a part of the Tour since 1938, and it will see the field cover a total yardage of 7,127 in the stroke play event.
Aaron Rai comes into the weekend as the defending champion after finishing two shots clear of Max Greyserman in 2024. The Englishman could have strong claims to make a successful defense of the title after finishing three-under at The Open on his latest appearance.

Ben Griffin has an excellent course record after finishing in the top ten on two previous occasions. Meanwhile, Matt Fitzpatrick could bring the best form to the table this weekend after finishing in the top ten in each of his last three appearances. On his only previous start in the event, he finished T36 in 2018.
Robert MacIntyre’s season has burst into life since taking second at the U.S. Open earlier this year. The Scot has now finished in the top ten on six occasions, and his game seemingly looks tailor-made for any course across the world.

A chance could be taken on Harry Hall this weekend. The Englishman has been in strong form throughout the season, and has thrived on the greens. If this comes down to a putting contest, he could be the one who comes out on top in North Carolina.
