Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes Picks
The big race on the final day of Royal Ascot comes in the form of the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes. Horses aged four compete in the race, but three-year-olds from the Southern Hemisphere are also eligible. A total distance of six furlongs will be covered on the straight course.
French raider Lazzat has moved to the top of the betting after winning impressively on his return to the track last month. However, ground conditions may be a slight concern. Inisherin is a course and distance winner after landing the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot last year.
But, Aidan O’Brien’s Australian import Storm Boy could be the dangerous contender. The three-year-old was below his best on his first start in Ireland last time out, but he won four times in stakes races during his time Down Under, and the strength of that is much better than the British lines on offer.
Free Pick:
- Storm Boy

Wokingham Stakes Picks
The big handicap of the week at Royal Ascot comes in the form of the Wokingham Stakes, and a sizable field will likely go to post. Some huge outsiders have won this race in recent years, meaning that it would be unwise to rule out any of the contenders.
More Thunder could go off as the favorite for the William Haggas team after winning impressively on his first two starts this season. However, he will have a career-high mark to defy in a more challenging race on Saturday.
Korker has always threatened to land a significant prize, and Saturday could be his chance. The Karl Burke-trained runner has won six from 37 starts under rules, and has run credibly in big field handicaps already this season, including when third of 16 at York in May.
Free Pick:
- Korker
