Fight Preview
Bruno Cappelozza (15-6-1) is the winner of the PFL Heavweyight Championship in 2021. The following year, he was stopped by Mattheus Scheffel who beat him by decision. Then, in 2023, he got his revenge, beating Scheffel by a TKO.
However, Cappelozza later tested positive for a banned substance, for which the PFL decided to remove him from the tournament. His first fight since the incident is the one against Vadim Nemkov at PFL x Bellator: Champs.
The Russian fighter is 16-2-1 overall, with his last loss happening in 2016. It happened upon his return to the light heavyweight division. And just before that fight, he lost a heavyweight bout as well. The fight in question was in the 2015 Rizin Heavyweight GP Semifinal against Jiri Prochazka.

Since then, the Bellator champ has all wins, including those against such elite opponents as Ryan Bader, Corey Anderson, and Yoel Romero.

Bruno Cappelozza is a KO expert but are many of Vadim Nemkov’s previous opponents. If he was able to beat Romero last year, we don’t see why he couldn’t beat Cappelozza in 2024.
