Race Preview
The pressure on the drivers involved in the NASCAR Cup Series steps up a gear this weekend, as the final race of the round of 16 is set for Tennessee. This weekend’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race has been on the NASCAR schedule since its inception in 1961, with the field completing a total of 266.5 miles.
Denny Hamlin remains the driver to catch this term. He was in excellent form in the previous round after winning the Enjoy Illinois 300 to retain his advantage at the top of the standings. The dominant drive was hard to ignore, and he stands every chance of following up once again this weekend.

However, the recent performances of Chase Briscoe are worth considering. Since the start of the playoffs, no driver has accumulated more points, finishing second last weekend and taking victory in the Cook Out Southern 500.
Kyle Larson will be a red-hot favorite this weekend, as he chases a third victory in the Bass Pro Shops Night Race. However, he has dropped to third after finishing outside of the top ten in both playoff races. Ryan Blaney will also be looking for a return to form after dropping out of the top four.
Bass Pro Shops Night Race Picks
No driver has been in better form than Chase Briscoe since the start of the playoffs, and his price this weekend does appear too good to overlook. Briscoe’s form could take him to the top of the standings this weekend, and he appears to be a driver on the charge.
