Multiple drivers have pulled double duty with the aim to win both the Coca-Cola 600 and Indy 500 on the same day, with Kyle Busch being the last to attempt the feat in 2014. Tony Stewart fared best in 2001 after finishing sixth in the Indy 500, before finishing sixth in the Coke 600. Kyle Larson will be looking to make history, as he competes in both this weekend.
In NASCAR, Larson has made a reliable start to the season and currently sits top of the standings after winning twice and finishing in the top three on five occasions. Martin Truex Jr will be looking to cut the advantage this weekend, while Denny Hamlin is chasing a fourth win of the season. William Byron could also be hard to overlook after making a reliable start to the campaign.
