Race Preview
The excitement of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs is just around the corner, but the drivers that will compete for glory this term will be determined following the final race of the regular season on Saturday. This weekend’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 has been on the schedule since 1959, with David Pearson holding the all-time race record for wins.
The field will complete a total of 400 miles, which will be made up of 160 laps. William Byron continues to sit at the top of the Drivers’ Championship ahead of the playoffs after finishing a solid 12th in the Cook Out 400 last Saturday.

His position was made stronger following Chase Elliott’s finish in 38th. Meanwhile, only Ryan Blaney of the top eight in the current standings achieved a top-five finish last Saturday. Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson enjoyed solid weekends, finishing tenth and sixth, respectively.
However, the pressure this weekend will be on drivers hunting for a place in the top 16. Austin Cindric has winning experience at Daytona International Speedway, and he returned to form with an excellent fifth-place finish last Saturday.
Ross Chastain, Brad Keselowski, and Kyle Busch will also have pressure on their shoulders in the race for a playoff spot this weekend.
Coke Zero Sugar 400 Picks
An unpredictable Coke Zero Sugar 400 is expected this weekend, and a driver that we like at a bigger price is Erik Jones. The selection has achieved two top-16 finishes in the last three races, and has also finished in the top ten on three occasions in 2025. At a big price, he could be a value angle this Saturday.
