Event Preview
This weekend’s Go Bowling at The Glen is the final regular season race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule before the end of the month, as next weekend will see the All-Star Race contested in Dover. Drivers will complete 245.54 miles on the road course circuit in New York on Sunday, with a total of 100 laps being covered.
Shane Van Gisbergen recorded four victories on the Cup Series schedule in 2025, with the vast majority of his wins coming on road circuits. That included a dominant win in this very race 12 months ago. Therefore, it is unsurprising, that he dominates the betting this weekend.
We correctly predicted that Chase Elliott would win last weekend’s Wurth 400, and Elliott will now be chasing a third win in 2026. The American has been in reliable recent form, finishing in the top ten on his last three starts.
Tyler Reddick continues to lead the Drivers’ Championship after finishing fourth in last weekend’s race. Confidence will also be gained from the fact that he won the previous road race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule in 2026.
Meanwhile, there will be pressure on reigning champion, Kyle Larson, to bounce back this weekend after he finished outside of the top 30 for the second straight race last time out.
Go Bowling at The Glen Picks
We chase a second straight winning NASCAR pick this weekend. Chris Buescher has a winning record at the Go Bowling at The Glen, and plenty of confidence can be gained from his form after finishing second in the Jack Link’s 500 and fifth in the Wurth 400.
