Race Preview
The NASCAR Cup Series regular season heats up this weekend, as just four races remain before the start of the playoffs. Important points will be up for grabs at the Iowa Corn 350, which will be staged on the Cup Series schedule for just the second time. This weekend’s race will see the field complete a total of 306.25 miles, which will be made up by 350 laps. The final two stages will see 140 laps covered in each.
Ryan Blaney will have the added advantage of having a previous win in the race to his name after claiming success in 2024. His chances of a repeat success are impossible to rule out after finishing in the top ten in each of the last two races.

Chase Elliott has seized control of the Drivers’ Championship in recent weeks after finishing in the top six in five of the last seven races. Elliott eventually settled for 13th in last weekend’s Brickyard 400, which was won by shock victor Bubba Wallace.
William Byron’s advantage at the summit has ended in recent weeks, as he has failed to finish in the top 15 in five of the last six races. But, this weekend provides a perfect opportunity to bounce back to form.
Kyle Larson is looking menacing based on the current standings. The former NASCAR Cup Series champion has achieved back-to-back podium finishes after taking second in last weekend’s Brickyard 400. Denny Hamlin also enjoyed success last weekend after taking third.
Iowa Corn 350 Picks
Plenty have leading chances in the Iowa Corn 350 this weekend, but a chance could be taken on Chase Briscoe. The driver has finished second in two of the last three races, and has taken top five finishes in eight races already in 2025.
