Event Preview
The 23rd race on the NASCAR schedule takes place on Sunday, as the stars will be in action at Michigan International Speedway. This event was historically one of two that was held at the track, but the race previously held in June was scrapped from the schedule in 2021. However, the August race at the track has been held since 1969.
A total of 400 miles will be covered in the race, with the first stage covering 45 laps. The second stage will see 75 laps completed, before the final stage will see the remaining 80 laps completed to cover the total race distance.

Kevin Harvick is likely to be a prominent selection in the betting this weekend, as the driver has won four of the previous five editions. That includes a historic victory in 2022. Harvick is still chasing a first race win this season, but he remains in a prominent position for a playoff place after finishing in the top ten in each of his previous three appearances.
Chase Elliott is also in excellent form, as he finished in the top 15 for the seventh consecutive race last weekend.
